Each room also contains our own property bird field guide, with photos of nearly all birds on our property to make it easier to identify our feathered friends [each bird is also listed in 7 different languages: Latin, English, German, Italian, French, Spanish and Dutch!]. The Pathdorf offers all the amenities you would expect from a luxury hotel, coupled with a more personal service. Relax in the stunning gardens, admire the sunset or gaze out at the stars while enjoying an outdoor balcony candlelit dinner (from Aussie BBQ to German or Italian cuisine), and be sure to try a delicious slice of home-made cake with a good cup of coffee or tea sometime during your stay- available any time of day! Campfire nights, a swimming pool, tennis courts and BBQ facilities will appeal to everybody's love of outdoor fun. Visitors can also discover the town of Alice Springs by bicycle, explore the Todd River, situated right behind the property, or walk two minutes to the nearby race course and stables. English, Italian and German speaking staff will be delighted to arrange a number of tours or experiences for you, including scenic helicopter flights, car rental to Ayers Rock, private full or half day guided tours to the West or East MacDonnell Ranges (tours can be arranged in German on request), and even sessions for learning how to play the didgeridoo! Pathdorf is now a solar powered B&B. A 10.5 kW solar power system has been installed and it feeds the whole property with solar energy!
